Courtney + David. Where do I even start? I have felt so grateful and overwhelmed by the amazing couples who’s intimate weddings and elopements I’ve gotten to document over the years, these two fantastic humans reinforced that a million times over.
David and Courtney met in Med school, they love exploring breweries in their many travels. When I asked them what one of their favorite adventures has been so far, they said they drove across the US together from California to Connecticut. They had zero plan, just drove and stopped at places people either told them about or looked super cool. Doing something similar with a tent top car is in the hopeful future. They discovered Asheville during this trip and knew it would remain a special place for them.
They opted to get married in a destination location at the most intimate wedding venue called Homewood in downtown Asheville, NC. Asheville was one of their favorite cities they stopped at during their road trip, a city they continue to go back to and love. So they took a place that is meaningful to them and made it a central piece of their intimate wedding.
