Nick and Kailey met when they were both working at Starbucks. Adding to mutual attraction and being overwhelmingly drawn to each other, Kailey was positive how Nick felt about her when he put in for a transfer when she opened a new store as a manager at a different location.
They had been planning their wedding for months when COVID19 pour acid rain over all their plans, so they opted for an intimate elopement instead. Nick had proposed in Pacific City at Cape Kiwanda, so this place holds a great deal of meaning to the couple. After their elopement in June of 2020, Nick and Kailey wanted to go on a post-elopement adventure back to where their marriage journey began – Cape Kiwanda.
