Tim and Molly met in late 2015 after Molly moved to the Portland from New York. They met online and bonded over a shared love of hiking, wilderness, and whiskey. One of their very first dates was a butt-kicking hike in the Gorge, and the area has always been a special place for them. They settled in to an old house in Oregon City (https://www.instagram.com/ethelthehouse/) that they’ve been putting work into and fixing up, but prefer to spend days out in the mountains whenever they can.
Two weeks before the wedding, Tim messaged to let me know that Molly’s younger sister passed away unexpectedly. She was a bright and shining light in the lives of everyone that knew her. Tim and Molly decided to continue with the wedding as planned, further giving family and friends the opportunity to mourn and commemorate Sally’s life, stay close and cling to each other while celebrating this beautiful new beginning for this amazing couple.
These two gingers decided to venture back in to the Columbia River Gorge for their wedding at The Perch. The view was breathtaking, the wind could not be tamed.
