Elopement in the Blue Ridge Mountains | Jomille x Charles

Jomille and Charles met when Charles was finishing up his months long trek on the Appalachian Trail. So when they decided to elope, it only made sense to go back to the place where it all began and have a mountain elopement.

We started their elopement day at an Airbnb off the Blue Ridge Parkway. We spent a quiet afternoon getting ready, having a sushi lunch, and breathing in the mountain air. We took our time that afternoon packing up before heading up to a Blue Ridge Mountain trail to their perfect elopement location.

We hiked for about a mile, found a private and sweet nook along the trail we’d chosen, and there Jomille and Charles exchanged vows under the clouds that threatened rain. My husband Brian officiated and delivered a sweet and simple ceremony.

After gallivanting around, sipping champagne while enjoying the views, and chomping on celebratory macarons, we hiked back down to the car. We arrived back to their accommodations to a private chef who made the most incredible four course meals. Jomille and Charles finished off their elopement day by a fire, drinking wine and gazing at stars.

If everyday could be like this day…
